KLC investigates all requests for donations, ensuring they are legitimate and that the money will be spent wisely in assisting the needy and underprivileged. Equally importantly, KLC continues to monitor the situation, making sure the money donated has been spent properly and that help is being provided to those who need it.

Therefore, you can rest assured that when you attend a KLC fundraising events or donate money directly, every penny of it will be spent helping those who need it most.

While KLC will look at projects in all areas, it has three main areas of focus:

• Vulnerable children
• The disabled
• The elderly

When it comes to children, KLC has purchased medical equipment such as incubators and a neurological ultrasound dissector (used in removing brain tumours) for Kyiv hospitals, provided clothes, shoes and sanitary packs to orphanages, supported the Children's Rescue Centre with beds, clothes and toys, helped the Ukraine Little League Baseball programme organise an orphanage little league championship, and assisted in the renovation of the School of Social Adaptation in the Tarashcha District of Kyiv which teaches transition skills to orphans to ease their transition to society.

KLC is a major supporter of the Ukrainian Special Olympics team, and helps vulnerable old people through various projects including providing financial assistance to the Ukrainian Diabetes Foundation's awareness programme for the elderly.

While KLC raises substantial sums every year, all of which goes to helping the underprivileged, there are always more worthwhile projects requesting funds. Help us help them.
