We Serve - Nearly 1.35 million Lions members in 200 countries and geographic areas answer the needs that challenge the communities of the world. Lions tackle tough problems like blindness, drug abuse prevention and diabetes awareness.

Global neighbors - Lions members, men and women, provide immediate and sustained relief in time of disaster and offer long-term assistance to those in need. Lions collect and recycle eyeglasses for distribution in developing countries and treat millions of people to prevent river blindness.

Community Leaders - Lions improve the quality of life in their local communities by building parks, supporting hospitals, orphanages, and many charity programs.

What is the Lions Club? The Lions Club is the world's largest and most effective community service organization, with more than 1.4 million members.

Our Club in Kyiv is one of 40,000 clubs in approximately 180 countries around the world. Regardless of what language they speak , religion or politics they espouse, all Lions are dedicated to seeking out and helping those in need.

Our Club was registered in 2002 and focuses on serving those most in need around Ukraine (with an focus on Kyiv). We always welcome new members and invite anyone interested to contact us to learn more.

About Lions: Since 1917 Lions clubs have offered people the opportunity to give back to their communities. From involving members in local projects as local as cleaning up the local parks or as far-reaching as bringing sight to the world's blind. The Kyiv Lions have, since it's registration in Kyiv, raised over $400,000.00 for charities in Ukraine. We thank everyone for their support.

Membership: The Kyiv Lions Club General Monthly Meeting is held on every 2nd Monday of the month in the Golden Gate Pub located at 40/2 Volodymyrska Street. Gatherings are at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 PM start. The club's language is English.
