The 5th Annual Kyiv Lions Club Kozak Night (www.kozaknight.org) is a chance for the international community and locals alike to celebrate all things Ukrainian, and is one of the most successful KLC events when it comes to raising funds for the needy and underprivileged. Held in the height of summer, this is the time to get outdoors with friends and family and celebrate the great history and culture of Ukraine while raising money for charity and creating a positive social impact.
When attending the KLC Kozak Night, all the lads and lassies turn out in traditional embroidered Ukrainian costume and submerse themselves in Kozak culture. At KLC Kozak Nights there is always the chance to try your hand at Ukrainian crafts and see demonstrations of Kozak culture such as horse riding, hopak dancing, and of course horilka drinking. Entertainment at the event is always top notch with all the best Ukrainian stars being invited to perform, and there's food and drink aplenty all of which combines to make a truly memorable day out.
